SSH takes long to ask for password
Solution SSH to server takes a long time.

1. Check that you have working DNS servers set in /etc/resolv.conf

nameserver 209.11.240.35
nameserver 209.11.240.36
nameserver 8.8.8.8

2. Update openssh

yum update openssh

3. debug ssh connection

[krypt@jump5 .ssh]$ ssh -v  174.139.114.98
OpenSSH_4.3p2, OpenSSL 0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 01 Jul 2008

It gets stuck at "debug1: Unspecified GSS failure.  Minor code may provide more information

Try disabling gssapi-with-mic authentication in /etc/ssh/sshd_config:

# GSSAPI options
GSSAPIAuthentication no
GSSAPICleanupCredentials no
